Definition
“Out-of-town” work is defined as any project that necessitates an overnight stay due to its distance from our shop, typically when the job site is 1 to 1.5 hours or more away. Each project will be assessed individually to determine whether it is more efficient to travel daily or stay overnight.
Important Notes
- Travel expenses and per diem allowances WILL NOT be provided for “In-town” work. Please consider this policy when applying, especially if you live a significant distance from our location.
- All travel for work purposes, both in- and out-of-town, will be done in company vehicles. Employees are not expected to use their own vehicles.
Compensation
- Meals: For every night that an employee stays out of town, they will receive $55. This is to cover the cost of meals and incidentals
- Lodging: The company will cover the cost of all lodging.
