Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $29- $35 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay at time and a half
• Travel Compensation: $55 / Day (Out-of-town Work (Travel))

Job Expectations

• Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week with potential for overtime
• Work Environment: Various environments including outdoor locations, elevated heights, and inclement weather conditions; may require working in rural or remote areas
• Travel Requirements: Regular travel to job sites within NY and PA; often requiring overnight stays (Out-of-town Work (Travel))
• Safety Standards: Strict adherence to company safety protocols and OSHA regulations is mandatory
• Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Work at heights
  • Work in challenging environments (All seasons and weather conditions)

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fiber splicer or in a related role within the telecommunications industry
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Valid drivers license
  • OSHA 10
